All emails, inbound and outbound, are scanned by MailMarshal (Massey's email filtering/virus scanning solution). Although Massey allow emails up to 100MB in size to be sent, other organisations may not receive emails larger than 10MB. When an email attachment contains binary data, it is base64 encoded. Base64 at least doubles the size - for example this can result in a 2MB document producing a 5MB email.
ZendTo is a service to make it easy for you to move files, including large files up to 20GB, in and out of Massey.
